P2M worth of drugs seized by PDEA

OVER P2 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) was seized by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a drug bust launched in Caloocan City recently.

PDEA Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo said the illegal drugs were seized from three suspects identified as Ferdeliza Mae Malasique, Gerald Galang and Ferdinand Malasique, all residents of Caloocan City.

Frivaldo said three sachets of shabu weighing around 300 grams and with estimated value of P2.04 million, the marked money used and other personal belongings were recovered during the operation.

Violation of Section 5 of Article II in relation to Section 26 para B and Possible Section 15 of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspects.
