MILUSAD og aerial inspection ang mga kadagkoan sa Police Regional Office (PRO)-Davao sa gisugyot nga lokasyon alang sa pag-establisar og air station sa Davao Region didto sa Island Garden of Samal (Igacos) niadtong Sabado, Oktubre 24.

Ang maong aerial inspection gipangunahan mismo ni PRO-Davao Director Police Brigadier General Filmore Escobal, uban ni Police Brigadier General Luisito Magnaye, deputy director ug maoy officer-in-charge sa Special Action Force (SAF) Air Unit.

Gikanayon nga ang SAF Air Unit magpahimutang og duha ka yunit sa H125 helicopters sa Mindanao ug ibutang sa Davao Region, partikular sa may Igacos, Davao del Norte.

Kini subay sa mando ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga magpakatag og Air Unit assets sa Philippine National Police sa Luzon, Visayas, ug Mindanao nga maoy moabag sa operasyon sa mga awtoridad, molusad og tactical, search and rescue, disaster relief ug dinalian nga field/staff flight operations.

Isip pagpangandam alang sa maong operasyon sa PNP Air Unit sa Davao Region, nisaad si Escobal nga mopahisayon (facilitate) sa pagpakigsabot tali sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa Igacos, kon diin sa maong lugar gisugyot ang pag-establisar og Air Unit station.

"The deployment of H125 helicopters in our region is an upliftment and advancement to police service. By having said helicopters, police operation especially those that needs urgency and speed; and those that needs aerial support could be performed faster and efficiently. Far more, airlift support would be readily available if needed," pagtin-aw ni Escobal. (WGM/PR)
