THE Mabalacat City Government has recorded 15 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of October 26, 2020.

The City Health Office (CHO) said that four of the patients are household contacts, four were exposed in workplace and seven have unknown history of exposure.

The local government, under the directive of Mayor Cris Garbo, has conducted contact tracing and scheduled a swab testing for all the patients' close contacts.

The patients and close contacts were placed under 14-day quarantine, the local government assured.

Sanitizing of affected areas was also set to prevent the spread of the virus.

"Currently, there are 161 active cases, 341 recoveries, and one death for a total of 503 cases," the local health office said.

The City Government appealed to the residents to support its fight against Covid-19.
