P680,000 worth of shabu seized

OVER half a million pesos worth of illegal drugs were seized by combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional offices and the City of San Fernando police during an operation launched in Valenzuela City on Wednesday, October 28.

PDEA-Central Luzon Regional Director Christian Frivaldo said the illegal drugs were confiscated from an individual identified as Emerson Pasion, 45.

A total of P680,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) kept in a plastic sachet with a weight of 100 grams, along with different paraphernalia and personal belongings, were recovered by police from the suspect.

Pasion is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
