Sungduan: 17 Kids

SEVENTEEN more kids with medical health conditions were provided assistance recently by the Global Save Life Foundation (GSLF), a Pinoy group based in Vienna, Austria.

GSLF, headed by Elmer Blanco, immediately responded to the appeal for the help of Chloe Buenaflor, a mother residing in Baguio City. Her daughter Sheikha who was born with imperforate anus and needed to undergo another operation.

The group sent cash for the purchase of the needed relief goods for the one-year-old girl such as colostomy bags, milk, diapers, and other materials needed by the child.

Furthermore, the said organization also supplied the needs, such as milk and diapers, of the 16 children with leukemia confined to the National Children’s Hospital in Manila. The children are from Cagayan Valley, General Santos City, Cebu, Quezon province, Rizal, Tarlac, Cavite and Manila.

“To all the parents who are having problems with the health of their child, kapit lang. Nandito ang GSLF na kaagapay ninyo,” Blanco said.

GSLF Treasurer Marjorie Guidangen, who is from Benguet and working as a nurse in Vienna, said as Global Save Life Foundation continues to exist, its aims and objectives are constantly moving, too, and now from the north of the Motherland to the south.

“We are grateful that GSLF was able to have somehow touched them and have been part of their journeys in life. We join their loved ones in praying that they, in God’s will, live to be what He has intended for them,” Guidangen said.

The foundation is set to help 20 more children with chronic illnesses and other patients in need of help in the country.

Any help will give hope and smiles to the community in need. For comments and suggestions email alahsungduan@gmail.com.
