ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. has expressed his gratitude to the members of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) headed by Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo for donating 5,000 relief packs to the residents of Barangay Ninoy Aquino in Angeles City.

Lazatin said it was "a huge blessing" for the city to be one of the recipients of the Lingap sa Mamamayan program of the INC, through the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, which has been running worldwide for more than three decades.

Amid the pandemic, Lazatin said, "it is commendable that there are programs from religious sectors that aid people in need."

Lazatin also wished Executive Minister Manalo a healthy and long life on his birthday.
