AN ESTIMATED P14,560 worth of shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride was seized in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 1 in Purok Malipayon, Barangay 12, Bacolod City Saturday evening, October 31, 2020.
The operation also led to the arrest of Dharryl Escanuela, 37, of Camella Homes, Barangay Mandalagan; Ronie Naval, 46, and Salve Oloroso, 38, both residents of Purok Malipayon, Barangay 12.
Police Major Jovil Sedel, chief of Police Station 1, said the suspects were arrested after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover around 8:05 p.m.
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 16 sachets of shabu weighing 1.82 grams, the P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 1 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
