‘Tabak’ honors senior non-commissioned officer

THE Army’s 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division (1ID) has tendered a retirement ceremony to a senior non-commissioned officer (NCO), who is set to retire when he reaches the compulsory retirement age of 56 this month.

Master Sergeant Nelson M. Acasio, the honoree, served a total of 34 years and 12 days of active service, according to the 1ID.

Colonel Pompeyo Jason Almagro, 1ID chief-of-staff, congratulated and thanked Acasio for his faithful service rendered to the Tabak division.

Acasio also thanked the command for the ceremony tendered to him.

Acasio also advised the members of NCO Corps to remain professional, loyal and obedient as mandated by the organization. (SunStar Zamboanga)
