9 new active Covid-19 cases in Bacolor

BACOLOR'S Municipal Health Office recorded nine new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on November 3, bringing the total caseload to 80.

Mayor Eduardo Datu said the new cases are from San Isdro, Calibutbut and Cabalantian.

He assured that all infected patients have been admitted in various hospital facilities.

Some 23 active patients are currently on quarantine and their immediate contacts have been placed under monitoring.

Of the total 80 confirmed cases, some 56 have already recovered. The town had also recorded six Covid-19 deaths.

Datu said that 62 individuals from different barangays are now considered persons under monitoring and are undergoing quarantine procedures, while four suspected cases are currently being monitored at home.

Datu said all necessary assistance is being given to the families of those who have been infected by the virus through their local community leaders.
