ILOILO City Government’s business permit renewal will go to the malls in January 2021.
These are Festive Walk at Megaworld Iloilo Business Park, SM City Iloilo, and Gaisano Iloilo City Center along Diversion Road.
Francis Cruz, head of the Local Economic and Investment Promotions Office (Leipo) said, they are also waiting for confirmation from Robinsons Place Iloilo for the same setup.
“We advise those who will renew to process early. We ask our taxpayers to pay early. We also highly encourage them to pay in cheque for the security of everyone,” he added.
Releasing of permits through email will be done three days after payment.
For City Hall renewal, the first step is verification of documents, then releasing of Tax Order of Payment (TOP) at Freedom Grandstand. The payment will be at City Treasurer’s Office. The printing and releasing of permits will be done at Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO).
BPLO targets 12,664 business permits for renewal, which is 80 percent average annually.
It issued a total of 15,831 business permits as of November 3, 2020. (PR)
