"LOVE conquers all."

Two wonderful people agreed to tie the knot with their sweet love despite the challenges influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

There is no stopping in their union meant to conquer all odds.

Love will find its way to fulfill its purpose and meaning and can overthrow anything that hinders it- even in the most trying times.

This holds true with the love story of the young debonaire Adrian Bobe, (Prietos), a notable broadcast journalist of GMA One Western Visayas and former Sunstar columnist who married a genteel and lovely Negrense beauty queen Louise Lian Enumerable, a former 2017 Mutya ng Pilipinas: Negros Island Region winner, finalist of Mutya ng Pilipinas competition in the national level and first runner-up of Lin-ay sang Negros 2016.

The marriage ceremony was held at the Talan-won ni Maria Shrine in Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental on November 7, 2020.

It was an intimate wedding ceremony put up by the new couple with the profound assistance of experts in wedding coordination and production.

Because of the pandemic, they made sure that the wedding ceremony will be organized well without sacrificing the observance of the health protocols.

It was a combination of the virtual and actual wedding ceremony where some who were not able to come still witnessed the ceremony and reception online.

The groom (husband) said it was a character and dedication for both of them that they were able to fulfill their plans to get married in the year 2020.

"The preparations started as early as January. We thought that Covid was not serious, we continued to plan until such time that in March, quarantine measures were implemented that curtailed some of our time and movements. But we found ways on how we could continue the planning because we wanted to execute it on the target date. All preparations had its corresponding challenges but we were persistent in finding ways to achieve our goals. And with all the hard work, we finally made it," Adrian shared.

The love story

Adrian and Lian met in 2016. Lian was preparing for the provincial pageant. Adrian came into the picture as her communication's training coach.

Both have their respective relationships.

A year later, their paths crossed again and this time they were both single.

One time, they had a trip to Zambales with friends. Unexpectedly, some people chartered them to each other's life while basking the cool breeze and the scenery of romantic volcanic formations which stood as witness of how their life conversations paved the way to a romantic love affair that they both nurtured and presently commemorated.

"We never thought that such a meaningful opportunity would change the course of our lives and interweaved our destiny forever," Adrian said.

For Lian, she met a man who will keep her heart alive, suitably secured by his love and faithfulness.

Lian once had a rheumatic heart ailment wherein she underwent a procedure in previous years.

For Adrian, he vowed to keep Lian's heart alive as she is a woman who would equalize his active life as a broadcast journalist and now as a husband to her.

Family reunion

Adrian was elated that his union with Lian caused a breakthrough for her family to reunite again with the valuable presence of his dad whom they have not been with for the past decade.

It was very timely that his father was able to witness the matrimony.

It was unexpected but God and His love performed miracles to him and Lian and their family.

"The 3 Ms in our lives represent Miracle Mama Mary, (we as Marian devotees) and Murcia, the place where our love grew. We sincerely thank everyone for their kind wishes especially those who were able to celebrate with us. God bless our union. And God bless everyone," Adrian said.
