Probe into headless cadaver continues

INVESTIGATION continues for the headless cadaver that was dumped along Labey-Lacamen road in Sitio Golan Ambassador, Tublay, Benguet.

While conducting road monitoring last week, Tublay Municipal Police Station (MPS) personnel were approached by five construction workers who reported about a cadaver that was found along Labey-Lacamen Road.

The headless cadaver was later identified as Harjan Lagman, 25, a resident of Baguio City.

Lagman's body was discovered on November 12. A black shirt was wrapped around his neck. He was wearing a black underwear, brown short pants, and black jogging pants.

Captain Eddie Buclig, Tublay MPS chief, said that together with Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), investigation and gathering of information to locate the head of the victim is ongoing.

Buclig said the area where the body was found is far from houses and the portion of the road is prone to landslide.

He added there are no bloodstains or blood spatter or any evidence showing that the crime was committed in the site.

Scene of the Crime Operatives reported that the victim suffered several hack wounds on his left knee, left shoulder and buttocks.
