PAL extends 2021 travel seat sale

CLARK FREEPORT -- The Philippine Airlines (PAL) has extended its 2021 travel seat sale until November 29, 2020.

The promo, initially offered for the period November 16 to 22, 2020, provides special deals for as low as P388 one-way ticket for domestic flights and USD99 roundtrip tickets for international flights for economy base fares.

The ongoing "Ready, Set, Book!" seat sale was extended to give travel aficionados the chance to avail of special rates. Travelers can grab exciting deals for worry-free travels next year.

The travel period is from January 10 to September 30, 2021 for domestic flights and January 15 to September 30, 2021 for international flights.

The travel seat sale, along with many other initiatives of PAL, supports the government's efforts to promote safe travel experiences and to rebuild Philippine tourism, as various provinces and countries gradually reopen their borders.

Under this promotion, passengers can travel to the flag carrier's domestic and international destinations with increased flexibility.

Ticket holders are allowed unlimited rebooking seven days prior to departure date subject to fare differences, if applicable.

Interested travelers may book via www.philippineairlines.com or through the PAL mobile app, call PAL Reservations at (+63 2) 8855 - 8888 or visit any PAL ticketing office or partner travel agent.

PAL flyers can be assured of a worry-free travel experience under the airline's multi-layered "New Normal, Same Heart" safety programs, and practices that have earned PAL a Top Ten ranking among the world's safest airlines for COVID-era travel.

The safety protocols include the use of signature Personalized Protective Equipment (PPE) by cabin crew, a rigorous disinfection regimen for aircraft before and after every flight, a high-tech cabin system that refreshes cabin air and uses High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters to protect against viruses, bacteria and impurities with 99.99% efficacy, and modifications to inflight food services and amenities to minimize physical contact.

PAL reminds all passengers to use face masks and shields for their protection, as well.

The flag carrier recently launched its own RT-PCR testing facility for departing passengers at the PAL Learning Center in Manila, with swab test results guaranteed within 24 hours.

PAL has also been operating a One-Stop-Shop facility at NAIA Terminal 2 since August to cater to arriving non-OFWs and foreign travelers, also with a 24-hour test result guarantee.

The carrier has partnered with authorized private medical service providers for both the departure and arrival testing centers.

PAL now offers regular non-stop flights between the Philippines and the U.S., Japan, Canada, Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong, the U.K. and Indonesia along with occasional flights to Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and other Asia/Pacific countries.

The flag carrier also continues to operate all-cargo flights and special repatriation services during this time of pandemic.
