CLARK FREEPORT -- Royce Hotel and Casino has unveiled Christmas centerpieces symbolizing "hope" amidst the pandemic.

Resident Manager Orlan Castillo and General Manager William AvendaƱo led hotel executives and staff in the ceremonial lighting of a gold and white-themed 18-foot indoor Christmas tree on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Royce Hotel and Casino dubbed this season a #HopefulHoliday and its Christmas tree aims to bring hope to everyone who visits the hotel.

The hotel also put up gold and white-themed giant Christmas lanterns, making the hotel's atrium brighter than ever.

"This year has been a challenging year globally. Suddenly, the world was put on a halt and everything seemed beyond one person's control. People began losing jobs, losing financial security, and losing loved ones. But amidst all of what is happening, this season reminds us not to lose one thing, and that is hope," the hotel said in a statement.

"There may be no back-to-back Christmas parties, no grand celebrations, no huge reunions to long as our hearts remain hopeful, we can still all truly have a Merry Christmas! And this is what the Royce Hotel and Casino wishes to impart to everyone," the statement added.
