WATERFRONT Cebu City Hotel and Casino has launched “Waterfront Light of Hope: The Season of Giving,” a fundraising project to share hope and happiness by giving back to families in need and to heroic frontliners at Christmas.

For P200 per ornament, one can decorate the hotel’s trees at the grand lobby and fund one Christmas in a Box to make someone happy.

One may also give virtual hugs to the hotel’s beneficiaries by purchasing its limited-edition Care Bears. For P650 per bear, one can help fund one Christmas in a Box meal for someone who needs a bit of cheering up this Christmas.

The hotel also put up donation boxes at the front desk and dining outlets where guests can simply drop in their contributions for the hotel’s ongoing Christmas project.

They may also charge a Christmas in a Box to their bill when they stay in the hotel or dine in any of the food and beverage outlets in the hotel.

A special wishing well is at the center of the grand lobby for guests and clients to toss in their donations and make their special wishes for the holidays.

Waterfront Cebu and Waterfront Mactan aim to raise P3 million for this project to benefit 2,500 frontliners and 3,000 families in need.
