Bacolod slay suspect arrested in Kabankalan

A SECURITY guard who allegedly killed his former co-worker in Bacolod City was arrested in joint operation by operatives of Police Station 7 and Kabankalan City Police Station in Purok Narra, Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City Monday, November 23.

Police identified the suspect as Antonio Enanoria, 25, a security guard of the Seniority Security Agency and assigned at 7G Tyko International Corp. in Felisa Road, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

Police Lieutenant Conrado Espino Jr., chief of Police Station 7, said Enanoria was the suspect in the killing of Joebe Natividad Jr., 31, a former forklift operator of their company, on Sunday evening, November 22.

Investigation showed Natividad, a resident of San Dionisio, Barangay Granada, and was observed under the influence of intoxicating liquor, tried to enter the compound around 6 p.m. Enanoria tried to stop him, but he insisted that led to a commotion.

Espino said Enanoria took his 12 gauge shotgun and shot the victim.

Natividad sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot, while Enanoria fled.

Police recovered from the scene of the crime a 12 gauge shotgun.

Espino said they received information that Enanoria was staying in Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City where he was arrested around 12:15 p.m.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station and will be charged for murder.
