THIS time of year, hotels are usually abuzz with preparing for the holidays of Christmas and New Year. For Café Marco of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the celebration is more immediate: Thanksgiving, which is tomorrow.

The Café will be open for two nights only, to serve a managed buffet of Thanksgiving favorites like roast turkey, roasted USDA beef, chicken relleno and the American tender sugarcane glazed ham. The dessert table will have maple pumpkin, apple and pecan pies, as well as Thanksgiving Harvest fruit cobbler topped with sweet cream biscuits.

Limited seats are available due to social distancing protocols, so it’s best to book a table in advance by calling (0321) 253-1111.

Radisson Blu Cebu will celebrate Thanksgiving Day tomorrow as it opens for a day only (it will also open for Christmas). Its acclaimed buffet restaurant, Feria, will be open for dinner from 8 to 10 p.m. for a feast of homemade pies, honey glazed ham and a traditional whole roasted turkey with all the savory trimmings, plus free-flowing iced tea, chilled juices and soda.

The hotel ensures a secure dining environment following a 20-step hygiene protocol that includes limited restaurant seating, social distancing measures, managed buffet service and increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection. For inquiries and reservations, call (032) 402-9900.
