THE City Government of San Fernando extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for donating essentials needed by frontliners in the battle against Covid-19.

The OCD Central Luzon donated protective gowns, sterile protective suits, surgical face masks, shoe covers, medical gloves, face shields, head covers, alcohol, and 1,000 bottles of water.

OCD Central Luzon Operations Section Chief Jayne Cunanan said the donation is part of the continuing program of the agency designed to support and help local government units in the fight against the coronavirus.

The donation was personally accepted by Mayor Edwin Santiago, City Health Officer-in-charge and Incident Management Team Commander Dr. Renely Tungol and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Raymond Del Rosario on November 24. (JTD)
