Robbery suspect arrested in Bacolod

A ROBBERY suspect was arrested by operatives of Police Station 1 at Purok Malipayon, Barangay 35, Bacolod City Monday morning, May 27.

Police identified the suspect as Michael Tugon, 33, of Barangay 35.

Police Major Jovil Sedel, chief of Police Station 1, said Tugon has an arrest warrant for robbery issued by Judge Eduardo Sayon of Regional Trial Court Branch 54 in Bacolod City.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 1 for failure to post his bail of P100,000.

Meanwhile, a theft suspect was also arrested by personnel of Police Station 2 at Lacson Street on Sunday evening.

Arrested was Elvie Entero, 42, of Sampaloc, Manila.

Police Captain Leo Estopa, chief of Police Station 2, said that Entero was caught after she failed to pay assorted groceries worth P9, 343 at Mercury Drug Store at about 6:05 p.m.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 2.
