Eugenio: I am lost

WERE you pressured into your current career path? Were there life-changing events that forced you to take on certain major decisions in life? There are a lot of us who are only doing things because of the influence of circumstance and pressure; yet most of us growing up have also felt a “calling” to become something, a natural tendency to gravitate toward certain decisions, aspirations and careers. In my many years of work as a bazi consultant, I have associated this “calling” as one’s pursuit to fulfill one’s own personal destiny or bazi destiny: the path you are truly meant to follow.

Some of us have been forced by circumstance or pressured by parents to stray from fulfilling our destiny. We have learned to accept the place we’re in. Yet despite our best effort to flourish in the path we’ve settled on, we constantly seem to be still thinking about what we could rather be doing. This persistently invokes a feeling of uncertainty that incessantly asks if this path is truly the road you want to take for the next 10, 20 or even 30 years.

In childhood, we often feel a “calling” to do the things we are drawn to do, but really only a few get to realize them because of the circumstances in life which influence what we believe we should rather be doing at the moment. Because of this, we tend to put our dreams and choices aside to satisfy a current and short-term goal. These decisions might even be influenced by the immediate need for money or the satisfying of parents’ expectations. Our dreams get lost alongside these many small compromises we make to achieve these temporary goals, which affect our happiness and success in the long-term. However, whatever reasons there may be, it’s never too late to get right back on track.

My work as a feng shui and bazi consultant has involved clients who approach me for career advice based on the analysis of what I call their personal destiny or their bazi destiny chart. They complain to me about how miserable they are at their jobs and how they feel unhappy no matter how hard they try to accept and grow in their chosen careers. Most people who think this way also feel stuck, stagnant and burnt out.

Most of them don’t know that based on their chart, they are destined to work somewhere else. They only need to be guided to know whether or not they’re in the correct field, and once they finally find out if they are, only then can they truly become actionable toward being more successful, more fulfilled, and more content in that path. This feeling of purpose and direction will provide you a natural and passionate feeling of truly belonging there.

Everything in life is energy. This energy flows interconnectedly in our relationships, our jobs, our dreams and in ourselves. The goal of knowing one’s bazi destiny is only about finding what’s compatible with us based on how well these energies flow with each other. Every profession or career has potential to make money, but the question is: where will you thrive and grow the most?
