Anti-drug campaign yields P500,000 worth of shabu

THE City of San Fernando police managed to net a total of P552,370.80 worth of illegal drugs in various anti-illegal drug operations in the city for the past 13 days.

City police chief Lieutenant John Clark said the accomplishment had brought about 15 arrested suspects in 11 separate operations conducted in the city.

Since Clark’s designation as chief of police a few weeks ago, the city’s police had imposed a renewed crackdown on illegal drugs in the city.

The illegal suspected shabu alone had been estimated at 81.231 grams equivalent to 97 sachets. The city police also confiscated one loose firearm and five live ammunition.

The city police’s campaign on Most Wanted Persons also resulted in eight separate operations and in eight arrests.
