TROOPS seized various war materials following an encounter with armed men in Maguindanao on Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020, the Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) said.

Wesmincom commander Corleto Vinluan said soldiers from the 40th Infantry Battalion were conducting combat patrol in Barangay Bulod, General Salipada K. Pendatun at around 2 a.m. Tuesday when they encountered an undetermined number of armed men under commander Mac4.

He said a firefight ensued and lasted for about five minutes.
