THE Angeles City Government's One Town, One Product (Otop) store is ushering in the holiday season with the launch of its "12.12" sale.

The "12.12" sale, happening from December 1 to 12 via the Otop Facebook page and Shopee online application, will feature one Otop product per day being sold at an affordable price.

Walk-in guests will also be entertained at the Otop store located in Barangay Sto. Rosario, at the back of Museo Ning Angeles.

Items up for sale include miniature ships from Adto Ship, metal plant stands from BG Metals, water bonsais from JJBMS Blooming Greens, plant baskets from Cutud Weavers, recycled bags from Ellen's Handbags, kitchen organizers from Flores Handicrafts, bayong bags of Tamayuq, painted home decorations made by Tabak's Artworks, fashion accessories created by K's creations, wooden kitchenware by WoodCraft by Madison, capiz home decorations from Chilona Fabrica, and hair accessories by Stitched by Raj.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. strongly urged all Angelenos to support the "12.12" sale, which serves as a good platform to introduce "Gawang Angeleno" products to the whole world.

"Iniimbitahan ko lahat ng mga kababayan ko na bumili ng mga produkto na ife-feature sa ating 12.12. Otop sale. Makakahanap na kayo ng magagandang items na pwedeng ipangregalo ngayong pasko, at makakatulong pa tayo sa mga lokal na Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)," Lazatin said.

Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel shared Lazatin's sentiment, saying: "This is one way we can help our kababayans get back on their feet, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic."

Meanwhile, Angeles City Economic Development Investment Promotions Office (Acedipo) OIC Irish Bonus-Llego encouraged other local merchants to have their products exhibited at the Otop store.

"Huwag po kayong mag-alala, nakahanda po ang aming opisina na tulungan kayo sa mga kakailanganin nyong proseso para sa inyong businesses. Tulong-tulong po tayo," Llego said.
