Benguet town tests 1,900

A TOTAL of 1,900 slots purposely for Covid-19 mass testing were donated by the City Government of Baguio led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong for the municipality of Tuba.

The local government unit of Tuba targets to test storeowners, vendors, drivers, teachers, pool owners, employees, officials and frontliners.

The free Covid-19 testing for residents of the town started December 1 in Barangay Nangalisan, while on Wednesday, December 2, the testing will be in Lower Tadiangan at the Tadiangan Proper covered court and the barangay health stations in Kilometer 6 during the afternoon.

On December 3, residents of Upper Tadiangan are set for the testing that will be held at Yagyagan Multi-Purpose and Tadaingan Barangay Health Station.

This will be followed by barangay San Pascual on December 4 at the barangay hall.

As of November 30, Benguet has already logged 2,049 with 276 active Covid-19 cases with 1, 756 recoveries, and 17 total deaths.
