TWO wanted persons, including the number 2 municipal level fugitive, were arrested in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Wednesday, December 2.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested fugitives as Urbano Anoos Alingas, 41, number 2 most wanted person in Godod, Zamboanga del Norte, and Luciano Banglos Alingas, 61.
Duco said the two were arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in New Abra village, Matalam, North Cotabato.
He said the two were arrested based on warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on June 4, 2008 by the court of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
He said the two were transported to Godod, Zamboanga del Norte from Matalam, North Cotabato for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
