AUTHORITIES have arrested two drug suspects who yielded P54 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in a drug bust in Muntinlupa City, police said Sunday, December 13, 2020.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Debold Sinas identified the suspects as Renzy Louise Vizcarra and Red Lewy Vizcarra.
They were arrested at around 5 p.m. in a fastfood outlet in Barangay Tunasan.
Confiscated from the suspects were eight kilograms of shabu valued at P54 million.
"Our anti-illegal drugs campaign has resulted even more in this kind of accomplishment because of the cooperation between and among our law enforcement agencies which serves as a stern warning to drug dealers," Sinas said.
"There will be no letup. The PNP, PDEA and other agencies have strong resolve to carry out the President's instruction to rid our country of illegal drugs," he added. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo / SunStar Philippines)
