Pangan: A very inspiring act

I WOULD add my acclamation to the fine deed and singular movement of the Mabalacat City youth club headed by one Samantha Dungca and seven friends, who headed to the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela carrying aid in the form of funds to purchase relief goods and other necessities to the flood-stricken residents of these two northernmost provinces.

Their motivations, as stated by Samantha, were the more inspiring to the young citizens and peers: "We wanted to share our opportunity to have more than three meals a day and it is not a burden and a regret to at least share one meal for those who are less fortunate."

Such fine gestures coming from the young! Expectedly, their parents felt proud of them because of their selfless demonstration of charity. Signs of their being well-bred and disciplined, traits of being good citizens of the country. They should be emulated and their good deeds recognized and cherished.

Mabalacat, these are your young citizens on which we repose our pride and trust. To them, we owe our never-ending allegiance and support.

This fine example of charitable work should be replicated, with compassion, by the other young groups of the city, like the Phi Beta Rho, which is composed of mostly young Fiesta residents.

Now that the situation is easing up after almost nine months of anxious tensions, it cannot be far-fetched that the new normal will set up, thanks partly to the entrance of the scientifically tested anti-Covid-19 vaccine.

My guess would be: Who among us will get the first shot of the vaccine?

Fiesta Communities Board Member Joey L. Feliciano has another bright idea, which when tapped well, could help augment the income of Fiesta residents.

His idea? Online on-demand services.

Frp, the handouts he gave us BODs on December 5 during our Board meeting in Dagupan, he spelled out the services to be offered like home care and designs-home cleaning, laundry, house chores, home maintenance, home innovation and cooking services; repairs and maintenance handyman, appliance repair, electrical/electronic repair, carpentry, car-washing and detailing, airconditioning, painting, gardening and landscaping services; and health, wellness and beauty massage, manicure, pedicure and spa.

This idea of BOD Joey Feliciano deserves full attention and focus to make it implementable.
