THE Negros Fashion Fest Series 2 was held via its maiden livestreaming fashion show on December 12 at SM Bacolod North with the observance of health protocols, citing the Covid-19 pandemic, Dwight Roslyn Morana, organizer and show director said.

USG Productions and Jonchin Gegato Photography helped in organizing the event.

Fifteen designers, of which 12 from the Association of Negros Designers and three Bacolod Designers, joined hands in staging the event to showcase various styles and designs of wardrobes.

The designers were Bon Ryan Gonzales, Adrian Colmenares, Rennie Braza, John C Rondain, Felicity Yulo Bongsky, Marie Jo Ellaine Villegas-Jimenez, Jes Dakila, Brylie Mirasol Hiponia, Carmeli Bantug, Princy Martir, Jofel Chua Cegayle, Tia Lacson, Leonard Tano Geraldes and Edwin Benitez.

NFF pioneer models and others who paraded the wardrobe include Marian Faith Pantaleon, Amely Sebuha, Cheyenne Angela Fransz, Cindy Valencia, Kate Pugal Escultura, Daniella Merelos, Roselyn Alcazar Corilla, Ella Gozon, Vanessa Sebuha, Rigil Kert Lucibar, Arn Young, Miguel Buenafe, Criselle Villaranda, Mika Ella and Shane Pia.

Some Negros personalities and beauty queens who likewise paraded the masterpieces of the designers include Janine Gelera, Alex & Charlex Maravilla, Jarizz Borcelas, Maria Precious Gruspe, Elona Jane Bonbon, Maria Althea Rose Mauricio, Rose Francz, Louise Balmeo Garcia, Vina Marie Peña, Scarlet Gonzaga, and Allen Gigante.

The makeup artists who collaborated with the fashion show were Debbie Oca, Kriztel Dawn Garbo, Julius Ledesma, Carlos Durana, Janry Chavez, Caryl Ginete, Barbie Dorilac and Gerald Mirasol.

Morana said people appreciated the fashion even as it was done on a different tone, considering the risk of the Covid-19.

"We made sure that no one will be exposed to risk with the physical distancing and the proper wearing of a styled face mask and face shield from the models, production people, and those watching the show. We know our limitations but at least, we allowed the designers and the models to showcase their masterpieces and style of wearing the wardrobe even in a different mode under the new normal. We hope that this will continue as long as we are guided by the regulations," he said.

He thanked everyone who participated and made the show a success.
