SENATOR Juan Miguel Zubiri said he has no interest in seeking higher office for the 2022 Presidential Elections.
In a press conference held at the L'Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City on Saturday, December 12, 2020, Zubiri said he will seek re-election as a senator in the upcoming polls, as he wants to specifically help the province of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.
"No plans for higher office, just a return to Senate," Zubiri said. "I have no ambitions, ambitions cloud judgment."
Zubiri said his current survey ranking is already good for him and he wants to maintain it.
