Ang duha nangamatay sa Chong Hua Hospital sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo sa unang semana sa Septiyembre 2020.
Ang kaso giduso sa mga Garcia sa Martes, Disyembre 15, 2020.
Nagplano usab sila sa pagpasaka og kasong civil batok sa ospital ug laing criminal complaint batok sa mga opisyal sa ospital.
“The complaint is the first of the series of complaints that the family is planning to file against the two doctors and the hospital, not only for the death of the late Marlon F. Garcia but also for the death of the late Nelson F. Garcia,” subay sa pamahayag sa pamilyang Garcia.
Subay sa saad sa pamilya, sila nikonsulta sa usa ka medical expert nga nagbase sa Estados Unidos.

Ang manlalaban sa pamilyang Garcia, Joan Largo, nagkanayon nga usa sa mga rason sa pagduso sa reklamo mao ang sukwahi nga pamahayag sa hospital sa kondisyon sa pasyente ug medical records niini.
“Because if you will look at his laboratory results, this would have been the results of someone who is very critically ill or on the verge of dying. But as early as August 24, he was already feeling better. Sa kinatibuk-an moabot og P8.7 milyones ang bayranan sa ospital. Pasabot ni Kongresista Pablo John Garcia nga ang pagduol nila sa eksperto gituyo alang sa mas paspas nga pagtuki sa isyu sa iyang mga igsuon.
“This is not about looking for experts from another country... but as I said, the family is employing experts to get to the bottom. And I understand a lot of doctors won’t provide a statement because it’s very hard for experts in this country,” matod ni Kongresista Garcia.
Subay niini si Atty. Winston Garcia, pangu sa Cebu CFI Cooperative, nipasidaan sa mga miyembro sa kooperatiba nga kon mahimo, likayan ang pagpa-admit sa maong ospital tungod sa di maayong kasinatian sa pamilya.

“..we shall be releasing an official statement very soon, after we fully examine the allegations being leveled against our hospital. Needless to say, however, we categorically deny any irregularities or shortcomings in the way we had cared for the late Garcia brothers, or for any of our Covid-19 patients,” matod sa Chong Hua.
