AFTER a successful stint with the United City Football Club (UCFC) that won its 4th crown in the 2020 Philippines Football League, Fil-German midfielder Manny Ott has left for another journey in Malaysia.

UCFC in a post confirmed Ott's departure by sending him the best of luck and wishing for his next stint in Malaysia. "Thank you for your contributions to retaining the 2020 PFL crown. Be safe, always, and bon voyage!" the post added.

It's not the first time that the 28-year-old midfielder left to play in a Southeast Asian club. It was recalled that before the start of the 2019 season, Ott left his former club - Ceres-Negros FC to suit up for Thai League 1 club Ratchaburi Mitr Phol.

Ott, an important piece in the team, is the second United City player to leave the club ahead of the AFC Champions League early next year.

It was recalled that in mid-November, attacking midfielder OJ Porteria also moved to his new club in Thailand.

The 26-year-old Fil-Am midfielder has been instrumental in many titles of then Ceres-Negros FC in the domestic league as well as triumphs in the AFC tournaments.

In his last stint with UCFC, Porteria made a huge performance scoring a hat-trick alongside Robert Lopez-Mendy in a 10-nil victory over Maharlika Manila FC.
