TO ENCOURAGE support for locally made products and reinvigorate VisMin small and media enterprises (SMEs) this Christmas, Globe myBusiness partnered with major mall chains in Mindanao for its Gift Local Campaign.
Through its Gift Local Campaign, Globe myBusiness provides new era solutions to ensure that business operations of SMEs will continue in these uncertain pandemic times. It collaborated with Ayala Malls and SM Malls to open local SME pop-up stores where shoppers can buy gifts from local brands and get a chance to win exciting prizes.
“We have always rallied the Filipino consumers to patronize local establishments and help Filipino SMEs, especially during the holiday season,” said Globe myBusiness Strategy and Marketing head Maridol Ylanan.

Both Ayala and SM complemented the campaign's goals—to kindle the Filipino Christmas spirit so consumers are encouraged to continue Christmas traditions such as gift-giving and eating together with family. When they dine and shop for gifts in participating local brands and SME pop-up stores, shoppers will also get a chance to win P10,000 Gcash money. The promo duration runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 31, 2020, per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. R11-047, Series of 2020.
Ayala Malls Centrio in Cagayan de Oro is conducting a Holiday Fair and shopping promo from Dec. 11 to 27, 2020. Per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. R10-MOR-0161, series of 2020.
Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City will conduct the same promo activities that will run from Dec. 21, 2020 to Jan. 3, 2021. Per DTI Fair Permit No. R11- Dav 172, series of 2020.
There will also be a trade fair for a cause in partnership with the Philippine Economic Zone in the Mactan Economic Zone in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The “Christmez” Bazaar runs from Nov. 18 to Dec. 23, 2020 and is part of Globe myBusiness’ efforts to tap major trade locations aside from malls.
