SEVEN drug personalities, including a high-value target (HVT), were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City, the police reported Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested HVT suspect as Analyn Donaire, 42, an alleged member of the Nonoy Alvarez Drug Group.
Duco said Donaire was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 10:15 p.m. Saturday in Purok 3, Narra Drive in Tugbungan village, Zamboanga City.
Recovered from the suspect were some P7,500 worth of suspected shabu packed in seven heat-sealed plastic sachets and P500 marked money consisting of five P100 bills.
Duco identified the other suspects as follows: Ibsar Duwina, 30, a drug watch-listed suspect; Lou Richard Venzuelo, 30; Ramil Aldeon, 30; Jeremy Aroy, 23; Girlie Mamiala, 19; and, Mary Jane Gandawali, 24.
Duco said Duwina was arrested in possession of some P3,400 worth of suspected shabu, a pack of cigarette, and P200 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in Cawit village, Zamboanga City.
He said the remaining five suspects were arrested while having a pot session around 11 p.m. Saturday in their rented boarding house in San Jose Cawa-Cawa village, Zamboanga City.
Recovered from them were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu and other illegal drug paraphernalia. (SunStar Zamboanga)
