AN ELDERLY school teacher from Macabebe town, Pampanga has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Based on the local government's health bulletin, the 66-year-old patient had a history of travel to Quezon province before contracting the disease.
After developing Covid-19 symptoms, the patient went for medical consultation and was subjected to reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction testing, which later turned out positive.
The patient is now confined in an isolation facility, while her three close-contacts are already under monitoring in the local quarantine center.
