JOINT police operatives arrested in a law enforcement operation one of the most wanted persons in Misamis Occidental, an official said Monday, December 28, 2020.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Dionesio Callenero Habagat, 56.
Duco said Habagat was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of a warrant of arrest around 4:06 p.m. Saturday in Imelda village, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.
Habagat has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with no recommended bail issued on December 27, 2016, by the court of Oroquieta City.
Duco said Habagat is listed as the Top 5 most-wanted person in Lopez Jaena, Misamis Occidental. (SunStar Zamboanga)
