I BET only a few will agree with me when I say 2020 is a good year. Well understandably as most of us have had a tough year. But the challenges we faced in 2020 have their benefits too because they revealed the best and the worst in us.

The Yuletide season has been observed with fewer Christmas parties and gatherings of family and friends due to the restrictions imposed by the government.

Yet, if we look at the bright side, the year 2020 has pushed us to stay strong and determined in overcoming the challenges we faced, especially in our war against Covid-19.

Tourist destinations like the Campuestohan Highland Resort (CHR) continued to put up new and colorful attractions despite the lack of domestic and foreign tourists coming in. They forge to instill hope and strengthen their purpose to bring in attractions to those who are coming there with the observance of the minimum health standard.

The tourism industry renewal of direction under a pandemic condition is slowly bringing back the most valuable industry in our province, which is tourism. However, the inflow of people is not that encouraging for business to flourish in these trying times.

Yet, it is still a go for CHR management to brave the storms by sustaining the level of its attractions.

The Christmas village with the gigantic Santa Kong is among the biggest attractions in the said tourist destination. The new music nightspot inside CHR playing danceable music, colorful lights, and snow-like colored chairs and tables bring new experiences to the visitors.

The nativity where the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph are seen is also a picturesque spot at CHR with the gigantic dinosaurs and the beautiful log house serving as panoramic scenery.

It's been a good experience to explore the place recently and it is like visiting "Disneyland" in our town.

Kudos to the bright minds behind CHR, your commitment to serve the public amid pandemic helps us to be resilient as we continue to fight against the dreaded virus.
