PERSONNEL of Valladolid Municipal Police Station headed by Police Captain Wilfredo Benoman Jr. have conducted a gift-giving activity in Barangay Batuan in the southern Negros Occidental town Monday, December 28, 2020.
The activity brought joy to about 200 children, who received gifts containing assorted toys and small packs of fruits.
Benoman said minimum health protocols such as wearing face masks and social distancing were observed in light of the Covid-19 threat.
He said the activity aimed to bridge the gap by making the police nearer to the community.
"We want to let residents feel that the police and local government unit are ready to serve and protect them for a brighter Christmas and prosperous New Year," he added.
