“Even in the U.S I do online guitar and voice lessons with Sir Denis Namocatcat of Cebu Music Learning Center. I also take guitar lessons from my foreign instructor Tambi Fluckiger. For modeling, I joined Runways and Tiaras, K-Pop Princess, F2go R-Diamond Production and Stepone,” paambit ni Charity sa online interview sa Superbalita Cebu.

“Right now I’ve been recording some of my dad’s compositions. I also have my own vlog which I do it every day in Charity Ray Hildreth vlog.”

Charity Ray Hildreth, Ssssuper Ka!!!

When did you start playing basketball?

When I was in third grade. My success is due to hard work and lots of trainings with my dad, who is my mentor. At practice I usually have an average score of 22 out of 25 free throws. But I can also hit a perfect score of 25 at some occasions. My dad used to be a varsity player during his heydays. Actually, 17 out of 25 was the worst I shot this year. You have to spend a lot of time in the gym to be able to shoot well.

Kahibawo ra ka magbinisaya?

Oo.

Unsa diay life nimo sa Montana?

I have the best of two worlds. Kadtong naa pa ko sa Philippines early this year I do home schooling, because US allows me to bring my books to the Philippines. Kon naa mi sa US, I go to Dillon Middle School. Face-to-face classes are allowed in Montana despite the pandemic. But our hostel business in the Philippines has been closed due to Covid. It has been financially difficult this year for our family just like the rest of the world.

How do you describe yourself?

I’m diligent and work hard at whatever I do. I love doing things with my family. I love our savior Jesus Christ. When I turn 19 I want to serve a mission for my church, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Asa mo mag-New Year?

We usually welcome the New Year at my grandparents’ house. Eating good food and playing lots of games. But we don’t have Misa De Gallo here during Christmas and also no fireworks. My mom loves to cook our favorite spaghetti and lumpia. You can also watch her vlog: Simply cooking with Hazel Hildreth.

What’s your New Year’s wish?

I wish for a Covid-free world by 2021 and for me to get back to normal life with my family, my church and my classmates, where I can learn and continue to develop new things that I enjoy doing. Sa mga taga-Cebu please visit my vlog at Charity Ray Hildreth. Happy New Year!
