POLICE operatives have arrested a 22-year-old drug personality in an anti-drug operation in the province of Basilan, an official said Friday, January 1, 2020.
Police Captain Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspect as Ben Duan Sariol, a resident of Tabuk village, Isabela City, the capital of Basilan province.
Duco said Sariol was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Doña Ramona village, Isabela City.
Seized from Sariol were some P4,000 worth of shabu packed in six heat-sealed plastic sachets and P300 marked money.
Duco said the suspect was detained while charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
