CORONAVIRUS-related deaths in Pampanga have now reached a total of 345 while the total number of confirmed cases has climbed to 6,637 as of January 3, the Provincial Government of Pampanga said in a bulletin.
The province currently has 587 active cases, while 5,706 of the 6,637 confirmed cases have already recovered.
Most of the active cases are still in Pampanga's major cities, with 167 cases in Angeles, 121 in San Fernando, and 95 in Mabalacat.
Towns with the most number of active cases include Lubao with 35 cases, Guagua with 24 cases, Apalit with 24 cases and Floridablanca with 19 cases.
Cities and towns with the most number of coronavirus deaths include Angeles City with 100 deaths, City of San Fernando with 61 deaths, Guagua with 33 deaths and Mabalacat City with 24 deaths.
For January 3 alone, 17 new cases have been recorded in the entire province.
