Sumptuous chocolate delights continue to tease palates around the world! And now, even Cebu has its own internationally acclaimed Chocolate Corner at Misto Restaurant, Seda Ayala Center Cebu.

“We decided to partner with The Chocolate Chamber in order to promote homegrown brands to our guests,” said the hotel’s attractive general manager Gwen dela Cruz.

“Guests can now immerse themselves in coffee or chocolate drinks at the restaurant or hotel lobby.”

Indeed, we observed how Chocolate Queen Raquel Toquero-Choa transformed her Chocolate corner into a well-stocked, cacao-scented den at Misto’s entrance.

The occasion was also a Yuletide lunch she hosted for Robby Alugar and the RMA News Team, which she fully supports.

Oh là là, get a taste of these treats: appetizing soup, Waldorf Salad, with entrée Grilled Salmon Fillet with Saffron Sauce, a Misto bestseller. Of course, the meal was seasoned with cups of hot chocolate infused with exotic flavors like hibiscus, cinnamon, crema tostada, mint, and salted caramel, turning an otherwise simple lunch into an invigorating beverage experience!

Very ably assisting Raquel was her Chamber Keeper, son Jonathan, who further expounded that in their goal of elevating the chocolate experience, all the flavors used in their cocoa powder products were imported from Spain, no less! The unique and flavorful Cacao de Bola is definitely a must-try!

In closing, GM Gwen added that aside from the Chocolate Chamber partnership, management has introduced tempting promos like customizable food-to-go services which have been an instant hit! Other promos include “Connect and Create,” where people can use the hotel’s wi-fi service to work, or spend time online for only P300 net, inclusive of light snacks and unlimited coffee.

There’s also the “Urban Getaway” promo on weekends wherein for P800 nett, one can use the hotel pool and have P600 consumable for food and drinks. More importantly, they follow stringent health protocols at Seda, like temperature checks, disinfections, health declarations, all under the campaign #SafeAtSeda.

“And that is a commitment!” concluded the general manager.
