NINETEEN new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases on Monday, January 11, had brought the total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga to 6,956, barely a few dozen cases before breaching the 7,000 mark.
Deaths from the virus since the start of the pandemic have been recorded at 356 cases, mostly from Angeles City (104), Guagua (33), City of San Fernando (63) and Mabalacat City (25).
Of the total number of confirmed cases, 5,956 have already recovered, while 644 are still active cases.
The active cases are mostly from Angeles City with 144 cases, Mabalacat City with 115 cases, and City of San Fernando with 141 cases.
Towns with considerable number of active cases include Apalit with 32 cases, Mexico with 36 cases, Lubao with 35 cases and Floridablanca with 26 cases.
