WITH a catchy and swing-y Yuletide theme “Jingle Jangle, Zontians Mingle,” the hyperactive and hardworking members (Zontians) of Zonta Club of Cebu 2 were requested, nay, commanded to sound those house bells or chimes to set the mood for their Zoom party!
Dazzling members sparkled onscreen, led by Club prexy Elena Young, with Zontian lawyer Regal Oliva handling the emcee task. Immersed in the entire event were three committees and their chairpersons: Membership under Margot Larrañaga; Ways and Means chaired by Nonie Uy; and a pair of glam ladies, Myrna Cruz Tan and Betty Young took care of Fellowship.
Wearing perky Santa pigtailed hats, sponsored by Zontian Lydia Sia, and sipping rich “sikwate” with pork buns, care of restaurateur Nonie Uy, and today’s sharp photos are to the credit of Zontian doctor Chona Tremedal, a high-tech ObGyn (thanks, ladies), the group warmed up for parlor games, a Christmas poetry session, singing of carols, plus bingo games led by master Zontian Wi Suan Tiu, with winners too!
A number not to be forgotten was the greeting of December birthday Zontians: Dr. Vivien Seno and Janet Chua, and with cake-blowing too!
The fun was just beginning, but the year was almost ending.
