Maricris gave birth to her daughter Adaiah on January 12, 2021. The new mother introduced her newborn on Instagram the same day.
"No words could ever describe that overwhelming feeling the first time you hear your child cry," the Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3 winner said in her caption.
Maricris still couldn't fathom the idea that she carried a baby for nine months. She said, "How can another human grow inside my body?!? How?!? Life truly is a miracle and a gift from God, with Him nothing is impossible."
Maricris and husband TJ Cruz announced their pregnancy in May 2020.

Georgina, Solenn, and Nico are currently enjoying a joint family vacation in Boracay. Georgina is with her boys—husband Arthur Burnand and sons Archie and Alfie—and sister Jess Wilson, while Solenn and Nico are with their daughter Thylane.
The first Instagram Story that caught fans' attention was Solenn's. In the video, Solenn and Georgina were seated beside each other. The latter was wearing a pink face mask and a black top. Solenn's video was tilted down a bit and fans noticed Georgina seemed to have a baby bump.
One fan quickly made assumptions and hoped Georgina would have a girl this time. But one netizen asked to double check: "Georgina is preggy?"
Another follower had the same question in mind. Then a reply directed them to check out Nico's Instagram Stories. Nico's Instagram Stories showed the whole crew still at the airport.
In one story, Georgina was seen standing behind the seaplane's landing gear. But she eventually stepped away from the plane to carry Archie. In another story, Nico was showing Georgina's sons Alfie and Archie. Then toward the end of the story, Georgina walked past Nico. This gave a blink-and-you'll-miss-it side view of Georgina.
Fans became more convinced that Baby Number 3 is on the way. One netizen added, "she loves producing those blonde blue eyes babies."
Georgina gave birth to son Archie in 2016. Three years later, she had her second son Alfie. This was the first time besties Solenn and Georgina got together since the pandemic.
It was a special kind of vacation because, apart from it being a reunion, it was Georgina's first time to travel with Thylane. It was also the first time fans got to see Thylane with Archie and Alfie. Thylane, or Tilibolz as she is sometimes called, turned a year old this January 1.
