Janine Gutierrez is now a certified Kapamilya!

IT'S confirmed! Janine Gutierrez is now a Kapamilya. She signed a contract with ABS-CBN on January 15, 2021.

Present during her contract signing were Dreamscape Entertainment head Roldeo Endrinal, ABS-CBN bosses Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, Mark Lopez, Ric Tan, and Janine's manager, Leo Dominguez.

Janine will be doing a teleserye under Dreamscape Entertainment, a content-providing unit of ABS-CBN that produces FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, Walang Hanggang Paalam, among other teleseryes.

She will also be a part of ASAP Natin 'To and will top-bill a movie produced by Star Cinema, a subsidiary under ABS-CBN Films.

Janine is the first Kapuso actress to transfer and sign a contract with ABS-CBN after Congress shut down its free broadcast.

Before being a Kapamilya, Janine was an artist of GMA-7 for ten years.

She started her showbiz career in 2010 as part of the noontime show Party Pilipinas, and subsequently top-billed several teleseryes, like Villa Quintana, More Than Words, Once Again, Legally Blind, and Victor Magtanggol.

Janine's last teleserye was the 2019 afternoon series Dragon Lady.

It was on December 28, 2020, when news circulated that the actress is transferring to ABS-CBN in 2021.

Janine’s contract with GMA Artist Center ended on November 1, 2020.

Will we see Martin del Rosario as part of GMA-7's live-action adaptation of Voltes V?

Martin promoted the latest teaser of Voltes V: Legacy in his Instagram story Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Voltes V: Legacy is the title of GMA-7’s live-action adaptation of the popular ‘70s anime.

He only wrote in the caption, “Excited for this! [raising hands emoji]”

Martin also retweeted posts about Voltes V: Legacy on his Twitter account.

A netizen reacted: “PAG IKAW KASAMA SA VOLTES V LIVE ACTION” including a GIF that shows a shocking face.

Martin quoted the tweet and only wrote, “hahaha.”

On November 17, 2020, he said a new project with GMA-7 has been in the works, but its details are under wraps.

Recently, Voltes V: Legacy director Mark Reyes posted a teaser about the series’ possible cast members on Instagram.

Yesterday, the latest teaser of Voltes V: Legacy gave the viewers a glimpse of lead character Steve Armstrong.

However, the clip only showed the lower part of Steve’s face, with his eyes covered by his headgear.

GMA-7 has yet to reveal in an official announcement who will become part of Voltes V: Legacy’s cast.
