P400,000 worth of 'shabu' seized in San Fernando

ALMOST half a million worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation launched in the City of San Fernando over the weekend.

Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the illegal narcotics were recovered from three suspects identified as Clairem Yalung, Patrick Garcia and Ryan John Banag, all from Barangay Bulaon here.

A total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 62 grams with an estimated street value of P421,600, as well as buy-bust money and other personal belongings were confiscated from their possession.

Appropriate charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were prepared for filing against the trio.
