GIUYONAN sa mga sakop sa Provincial Board (PB) ang resolusyon ni Bokal Glenn Anthony Soco nga naghangyo sa Social Security System (SSS) alang sa paghatag og lugway o pagsuspenso sa gikatakda nga usbaw sa monthly conribution tungod sa pandemiya sa Covid-19 nga nimugna og halapad na krisis.
Ang resolusyon giuyonan sa PB atol sa sisyon sa Hunta, Enero 18, 2021.
Subay sa gipahibaw sa buhatan, ipatuman ang one percent point hangtod sa 13 percent increase sa contribution matag buwan.
Si Soco nagkanayon nga maayo ang maong plano apan kon susihon ang kasamtangan nga kahimtang, daghan ang mga negosyo nga nalugi ug nanirado hinungdan sa pagkataktak sa trabaho sa mga empleyado.
Gawas pa niini, wala usa’y gipatuman nga usbaw sa suholan sa mga empleyado ug gilantaw nga mahimo kining gibug-aton sa mga Sugboanon ning panahon sa krisis.
Tipik sa resolusyon nagkanayon nga “The pandemic did not only pull down the economy, it also pushed joblessness up to its historic peak of 10%. Aside from that, there was no salary-increase adjustment in 2020. Evidently, the increase in member contribution is an added burden to workers.”
Dugang sa resolusyon, “an earnest call and plea to postpone its implementation is in order. To increase contributions from members when the country is experiencing financial distress is not only bad timing, it can be considered oppresive.”

“Should have been the same for Phil health. It’s good that the President announced for the deferment of increase for Philhealth. The SSS increase would be burdensome to the employees and employers as welll especially at these times of pandemic,” matod ni Soco sa Enero 18 ngadto sa mga tigbalita sa Kapitolyo. (ANV)
