Mao kini ang pamahayag ni retired Major General Melquiades Feliciano, deputy chief implementer sa Visayas, sa iyang pagbisita sa Dakbayan sa Sugbo.
Gitumbok ni Feliciano, kinsa nibisita sa dakbayan sa Miyerkules, Enero 20, 2021, nga kasarangan ra ang pagsaka sa kaso gikan sa single digit ngadto na sa double digit sa duha ka semana sa Enero 2021.
Ang tapoktapok sa nilabay nga holidays maoy nakaingon sa “slight rise” sa Covid cases and “this is expected,” matod ni Feliciano. “It’s happening in key cities like Metro Manila.” “It is normal in the sense that there was this celebration during the holidays, the Christmas season, the New Year season. It’s different now because many of the LGUs have already established processes and systems on how to mitigate the spread of the virus,” matod ni Feliciano, deputy chief implementer sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Visayas.

“The gatherings that happened in holiday season, the parties, drinking sessions and Covid strikes when you start removing your face mask and talk to each other for a quite long time,” matod ni Feliciano.
Samtang gipadayag usab niya nga andam siyang magpatusok og bakuna batok sa Covid-19 sa higayon nga mapahimuslan na kini sa publiko.
“I’m always willing to be vaccinated because everyone should so that we can set an example. We believe what the government is doing. We should have that confidence in their programs,” matod ni Feliciano.
Kontento ug wa siyay nakita nga pagkuwang sa Emergency Operations Center (EOC) sanglit kontrolado nila ang sitwasyon.
