'Love' up early in Angeles City

THE celebration of hearts month and Valentine’s Day came early in Angeles City as heart-shaped lanterns that send the message of “love one another” have already been put up by the City Government on Friday, January 22, 2021.

The Valentine’s lanterns and lights now shine along Abacan Bridge and Friendship Highway as a way of celebrating the love month of February in the midst of the raging Covid-19 pandemic.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. said amid the ongoing health crisis, “we should liven up the city's streets by always sharing light and love to all Angeleños.”

(If we keep on loving and caring for our fellowmen by following health protocols, we will ultimately see through Covid-19.)

(But we must always remember, it is not only during a pandemic that we must love each other but every day.)
