A VILLAGE official was arrested in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Police Lieutenant Jimmer Urot of the police station in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, identified the arrested village official as Isagani Lumpayao Tan, 39, a barangay councilor of Silangit, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Urot said that Tan was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of search warrant around 4:40 a.m. Friday at Purok Mahayahay in Silangit village, Molave.
Urot said that seized during the law enforcement operation were one .9-milimeter (MM) pistol, two magazines, and one live ammunition.
He said the arrested village official was placed under the temporary custody of Molave Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
